The anger of Azazel (on behalf of a scapegoat)
Leviticus Chapter 16, verse 10.
The High Priest displayed his sacred linen
as he led you into the Holiest Place,
and spoke your name with solemnity,
reassuring himself and your enemies,
convincing your kind but fearful friends,
yes, even your own dear soul did contend
that they are forgiven, for you were to blame.
So, you walk willingly into this wilderness,
wretched head bowed down in shamefulness
because you feel far, oh so far away from God;
but here is the well that was opened for Hagar,
drink with me and the unclean creatures
who like you were forsaken for some kind of sin,
but are able to reason and to live once again.
